The Wright Brother is the first book in a new series called
The Wright series by K.A. Linde. This book is the first book that I
have read from K.A. Linde, and I absolutely adored it. The Wright Brother
was a fun and quick read that definitely left me wanting more. I loved
that this book was written with dual POVs. Being inside Emery's head as
well as Jenson's, made it easy to connect and relate to them on a
deeper level. I also loved seeing how much these characters changed so
much by the end of the story. This book was just full of
awesomesauce!!! I loved it!!!
I loved and adored the characters in this book. All the Wright Brothers are hot and beyond sexy. Any girl would be lucky to have them. Each brother seems to have their own baggage though. Their secrets. This book focuses on Jenson Wright. He is the oldest Wright Brother and runs Wright Construction. Therefore, he is beyond wealthy. Jenson has trust issues due to everything that happened with his ex-wife. He also has a lot of secrets. When Emery comes into the picture, everything changes for him. At first, he just wanted a quick fling, but then she became so much more.
Emery is very cautious with her heart. After Landon Wright broke her heart on graduation, she has pretty much guarded it since then. Ten years later, nothing has changed with the guys she is dating. She always seems to find the jerks. So with Jenson, she wasn't panning on being anything more with him. She sworn off the Wright brothers, but a night of fun-filled intimacy only was what she needed. Only that one night turned in to so much more and brought both Jenson and Emery on a path that neither one wanted to take.
I loved the relationship between Jenson and Emery. It was constantly back and forth between those two. They had a pretty awkward relationship as well. Emery dated Landon for two years in high school and now she is dating his brother Jenson. Her best friend, Heidi, may have feelings for her ex boyfriend Landon. Talk about awkward!!! I wonder what type of feelings are going to pop out over this. At first I was really hoping that this book was about Emery and Landon rekindling their relationship. When I realized it was about a different brother, it took me a little bit to be okay with it. Even though Landon and Emery have their past, I wanted her to end up with Jenson in the end. I completely fell for him.
This book had a lot of curve balls in it. I kept wondering why Jenson still had any type of relationship with his ex-wife Vanessa. When the truth of that came out, I was shocked even though that thought crossed my mind a few times. Then Jenson reveals another truth on top of that, and it completely floored me. I was left speechless. I was left wondering what on earth was going on!!! And then another revelation was revealed!!! Holy Moly!!! Talk about some twists and turns all at once!!!
The Wright Brother was an amazing, fun-filled and sexy read! I could not put this book down once I started it. It was an enthralling and fantastic read from start to finish. I loved the Wright brothers so much!! I am really hoping that each Wright brother gets his own story!!! And the Wright sisters as well! That family I want more of! This book is a definite MUST read!!! Wright is definitely right!!!
