~~Review~~

Lines Drawn picks up right where Drawn to You leaves off.  This review is going to be so hard to write without spoiling anything!!!  So many changes happen within this book.  Changes that I didn't expect at all!!  That is what I love about Ker Dukey.  Expect the unexpected from her.  Drawn to You focused on Antonia and Finlay.  Lines Drawn again focuses on them, but also has Gavin as a main focal point as well.  I loved reading chapters from his POV, as well as Antonia's and Finlay's.  The plot moved seamlessly, leading up to the big finale.  The character development was spot on.  Especially with Finlay, Antonia, Gavin and Gaby.  New characters were introduced and they added some fun and meaningful moments into this story.  The secondary characters are in here like always, and just as awesome.  They leave some twists and turns on their journey as well.

Antonia continues to suffer.  Everything just seems to hit her all at once.  But she is so strong and has overcome a lot. She has her friends to help her through.  They have been a huge support for her.  I loved her friendship with Gavin!  She always saw who he truly was and always saw the good in him.  Antonia never judged him and I loved her for that.

Finlay has suffered in ways as well.  In this book, he continues to find himself.  He makes changes that I wouldn't have thought he would make.  He makes mistakes, and I just feel so sorry for him.  I really do feel for him.  Antonia has changed everything for him, and he just wants to be the best he can be for her.

Gavin is still my absolute favorite!!!  I just love and adore him so much!!  He changes so much throughout this book.  No longer a womanizer.  He continues to be there to support his friends especially Finlay and Antonia.

The twists and turns in this book completely shocked me.  I was really hoping that something would happen in this book, but I figured it wouldn't.  But Ker Dukey loves to shock us to the core.  So I was very happy that it happened.  Squealed!!!  These twists I didn't see coming at all!!!  My jaw dropped several times though out this book.

I really wish I would have read this book slower so I could have savored every detail that happened.  I just could not put this book down.  So much happened in it.  This book needed to be longer!!  I wanted so much more.

Lines Drawn was just masterful.  The twists and turns were completely EPIC!  I was literally mind-blown.  Ker Dukey went to where no author would usually go.  Some are going to hate this ending while others love it.  I am one of the ones that loved it!!  I am so sad to this series end.  I want more of these characters, especially Gavin!!  Superb job Ker Dukey!!!

Coming Soon From Ker Dukey

Evi Devil.
Yes, that’s really my name.
The irony is not lost on me.
I was created from two evil souls and have the name to prove it.
Devil worshipers, perverts, murderer. Is all terms used to describe the parents I refuse to remember. My mind won’t allow me to.
And why would I want to?
One born of dirty blood running through her veins can never truly be clean from its murky hue.
No matter what they try to tell me happened in my past, my mind denies me access, therefore how can I know it’s true?
How can I believe that’s what I’m born from?
Glimpses of my past haunt me, the screams of terror echo in the silent darkness of my memories, trying to remind me that my Mother went from room to room butchering our family.
I’ve learned from scars that I suffered abuse and that my Father and siblings weren’t my Mother’s only victims.
Hearing what they tell me.
Reading the words printed in the papers. None of it can prepare me for what’s to come.
My biggest lesson is learning that some memories we suppress for a reason.

DEVIL.
A DARK SUSPENSE NOVEL

Meet Ker Dukey

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bedtime stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so I thought it best that I tell my own.

My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made of light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

You can find me on Facebook where I love interacting with my readers.
