Blurb
Two strangers
in Paris
...
One passionate,
earth-shattering kiss.
He was the
artist
upstairs
with the
tantalizing smile and laughing
eyes.
He was the
devil inviting me to
sin,
seducing me to
dance in the bright
moonlight.
He was desire
and need.
When he touched
me, my body
sang--
my soul came
alive.
But I belonged
to another
man,
and he didn't
want to let me
go.

5/5 Stars
WOW!!! I am just blown away right now!! This book deserves 5 beautiful, AMAZING stars!!! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! I am just completely speechless right now. These words, these beautiful words completely spellbound me. Love Me in the Dark was everything!! It was a beautifully written story with a beautiful romance.
I LOVE that this story takes place in Paris!! I have always wanted to go to Paris so I loved getting a little taste of Paris life in this book. Mia Asher has a way with imagery. It was perfectly done and descriptive enough to where I could vividly see and be pulled into the world that she has created. A life in Paris. The characters that stole my heart. I was able to see and feel everything.
Valentina is a kind and loving person. She has been married to her husband for twelve years. Valentina is very passionate, and gives everything she has to make her marriage work even though her husband broke her trust. Spending time in Paris, she questions everything. Who she is and who she can be without William. She ends up meeting Sebastien and he makes her feel, and she hasn't felt anything in such a long time. But she always questions everything. Right from wrong. And I loved that about her. Even though she had strong feelings for Sebastien, she never broke her vows with her husband. She was an honest woman who always done what was right.
Sebastien is so passionate. Intensely passionate. This man has a magnetism to him that is undeniable. Everyone is completely drawn to him, as was I. I really sympathized with him on what happened in the prologue. Brought tears to my eyes. What happened completely changed him. That is until he saw Valentina. He knew he was in big trouble when her first saw her. I loved seeing Sebastien come back to life, and find a love again that he didn't think was possible. I am just completely swooning over this man right now. I loved that he was an artist and put a lot of his feelings into his art. That made him sexy as sin. He fought for Valentina and never gave up. That was just sweet and flat out hot at the same time. He was a very romantic man. I also loved seeing this womanizer completely fall for one woman again and change his ways.
I loved the connection between Valentina and Sebastien. It was very powerful. I was rooting for these two since the very beginning. But, I didn't know how it would turn out with them. Valentina was married and she wanted to give everything she had on making her marriage work. Then I was a worried that history would repeat itself as to what happened in the prologue. I was so worried that Mia Asher was going to destroy me, and break my heart into a million pieces. She did break my heart, but she put it back together.
Valentina and Sebastien are both damaged souls that have suffered a great deal. Sebastien is damaged by loss and Valentina is damaged by love. Both tragic in their own making. Fate comes in to play and changes the course for these two.
I did not like William at all. I liked him a little in the beginning, thinking maybe he just made an honest mistake. But, his true colors came out and he was just an awful human being who used people to get what he wanted no matter the cost.
Love Me in the Dark is an emotional and riveting story from start to finish. Once I started this book, I could not put it down. This masterpiece completely consumed me and left me completely breathless. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. It is an unforgettable story that will always have a special place in my heart. Everything about it was just absolutely flawless. It was heart-warming and yet, heart-wrenching at the same time. I loved that it is a forbidden romance with a lot of angst. Love Me in the Dark AMAZING story is a MUST read!!! A definite reread for me!!!

Author Bio
I'm a writer, a hopeless
romantic, a wanderer, a dreamer, a cynic, and a believer. And, I might be a bit
crazy - but who isn't?
I believe in happy endings
however I know that not everyone is lucky enough to get one, but such is life.
I think fine lines exist to be pushed and possibly
crossed.
Love,
M.
