Natalie walks in on Bryson cheating on her. One month after catching him in the act, she finally decides to make an escape by leaving for Florida.
She wants to start over, have fun, and be free while also finding a way to mend her broken heart but when she meets Nolan Young, her single-life escapade doesn't last for very long. She tries to stay clear of Nolan and his desires but it's impossible for her. Nolan will do everything that he can to have her as his own, but will Natalie accept Nolan along with the problems of his past? Will she let someone else into her heart that may be even worse than Bryson?
For Natalie, Nolan will be something completely new to her. And for them both, their desires will be completely hard to resist.

My Review

I loved, loved, loved this book!!!  It blew me away.  This is the first book I have read of Shanora's and it definitely makes me want to read her othersThe story was beautifully written and well thought out.  I was immediately drawn into this story after the very first page.  Once I finished the story I couldn't believe how much tome passed by.  I finished it in one sitting.  Shanora did a fantastic job on creating a story where the emotions and story felt so real.  I was able to see everything the characters saw, but most importantly, I felt everything they felt.

I loved the characters in this story.  Natalie was a very stubborn character.  She was really hurt after losing Bryson.  They dated for over four years and he was her first everything.  I felt how much pain she was in over this.  Most of us has went through this heartbreak, and that is what made this story even more real to me.  I was able to relate with that. Anyway, Natalie pretty much shuts her emotions off so she doesn't get hurt again.  Of course, all that changes when Nolan charges in.  She just wants a one night stand, but he wants so much more.  Nolan is another definition of sexy.  He is so gorgeous and he knows it.  He goes from one woman to another until he sets his eyes on Natalie.  All of a sudden, he wants to settle down with her.  He becomes so persistent in trying to get her to go out with him.  Nolan has secrets of his own as well and those did come out.  Loved him!!!

I thought this book was a standalone until I finished it.  I am glad to hear that there will be a sequel.  I can't wait to see what else happens between those two.  I loved this book!!! Hard to Resist is a book I would definitely reread.  I am already wanting to reread it.  This is a must read everyone!!!!

Author Bio:
Shanora was born and raised in Matthews, North Carolina. She's a young, happy writer that loves the power of words. She's the author of The Story of Jackson Haddock, the New Adult OBTAINED series, and the New Adult novel, Hard to Resist.
When she's not writing, she's reading or watching cartoons like a big kid. You'll always catch her laughing during the most random times. She still resides in Matthews, North Carolina and I has a wonderful family that you will hear her brag and talk about constantly. Whenever she wants to get away from words, she'll spend some time with her loved ones, eat gummy bears, or go get a drink from Starbucks-- depending on the weather. Her favorite hot drink during winter is a White Chocolate Mocha with whipped cream and her favorite cold drink is a Strawberry and Cream Frappuccino.
