 seduced by power,
broken by control,
and consumed by love...

Vi has made her choice between Jag and Zenn, and the Resistance may have suffered for it. But with the Thinkers as strong as ever, the rebels still have a job to do. Vi knows better than anyone that there's more at stake than a few broken hearts.

But there is a traitor among them...and the choices he makes could lead to the total destruction of everything Vi has fought for.

Vi, Jag, and Zenn must set their problems aside for the Resistance to have any hope of ending the Thinkers' reign. Their success means everything...and their failure means death.

Elana is running a Pinterest contest for the cover. She wants to get 500 pins (or repins) over the next  two days. If we can get that many, she'll pick someone who pinned the cover to win a $50 Amazon gift card. It's so easy to do this. All you have to do is click over to Elana’s blog for details

https://mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/attachment/?ui=2&ik=e097452c0a&view=att&th=1399d29e3d1ea14a&attid=0.4&disp=inline&realattid=f_h6sa2p1m3&safe=1&zw&saduie=AG9B_P9sBDGXnJMEaYHnd4FY1gMG&sadet=1347600068485&sads=wOacJbEK1Fz2K9BmFKweeZo4vhc

Hey everyone!!!!  Welcome to the next stop in the Betrayal Blog Tour.  For my stop, I will be featuring the book cover along with the synopsis.  I will also be featuring Gregg Olsen's photo along with his bio.  I really hope everyone is having a great time with this tour!!!!

Synopsis

In this action-packed thriller sequel to Envy, foreign exchange student Olivia Grant is stabbed to death after a party--and the prime suspect is her best friend. As twins Hayley and Taylor Ryan get pulled into the aftermath of this Amanda Knox-like crime, they realize nothing is what it seems. Could it be betrayal of the ultimate kind?

Betrayal features real-life crime-solving techniques, heart-stopping suspense, plenty of red herrings, hard-hitting ethical questions, and information about the Amanda Knox case that inspired the novel. As the crime unravels, so does the twins' past…and they must face off against a family member who may unexpectedly have carried out the worst betrayal of all.

                                                        Gregg Olsen

A Seattle native who lives in Washington State, Gregg has seen the darker side of the Pacific Northwest and knows a little more about the area than your average guy. “There is something dark and beautiful about the Pacific Northwest," he says. “We seem to have an overabundance of serial killers out here–so many, in fact, sometimes I wonder if they have a secret convention in Washington.”

A New York Times and USA Today bestselling author with 13 books and sales of over one-million copies to his credit, Gregg made his young-adult fiction debut with Envy. The follow-up, Betrayal, will be published in September 2012.

Top Ten Tuesday #1

http://i49.tinypic.com/2h4fc6p.jpg

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the ladies over at The Broke and the Bookish.  This weeks Top Ten topis is:  books that you're most excited about that have made it on your Fall TBR list.

This was very hard for me to limit my list down to ten.  There are so many books that I just haven't got to yet, and then there are books that are releasing soon that I can't wait to get my hands on.  My Top Ten list will consist of books that are already available along with books that are releasing in the fall.

Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1)    Shadow and Bone (The Grisha Trilogy, #1)    The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1)

1. Cinder by Marissa  Meyer
2. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
3. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5)     Enshadowed (Nevermore, #2)

4. City of Lost Souls by Cassandre Clare
5. Enshadowed by Kelly Creagh

Finale (Hush, Hush, #4)    Rapture (Fallen, #4)

6. Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick
7. Rapture by Lauren Kate

The Savage Grace (The Dark Divine, #3)    Cursed    Alice in Zombieland (White Rabbit Chronicles, #1)

8. The Savage Grace by Bree Despain
9. Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout
10. Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter

This was such a hard decision.  I did get it down to ten though.  I have been waiting a long time to see how Finale, Rapture, and The Savage Grace ends.  These books contain characters that I have become really attached to.  Nevermore left off with a huge cliffhanger that made me want to read Enshadowed even more.  Cinder, Shadow and Bone, Alice in Zombieland are first books in new series.  I always love starting something new.  City of Lost Souls hopefully fixes the situation that happened in City of Fallen Angels.  Cursed and The Raven Boys are two books I just can't wait get my hands on.  These two books I will have to read as soon as they are released.
