Synopsis

ONCE UPON A TIME…
the most beautiful boy in the world kissed me.
I’ve never been able to forget.
Perhaps it was his jet-black hair,
or the changing copper-color of his eyes,
the intense way he looked at me…
or the fact that he awakened my passion for the first time,
at once otherworldly yet heartbreakingly real.
But after that kiss, I never saw him again.
His name was Jack Beauloup.
Jack, my “Beautiful Wolf.”
Twenty years passed. He has returned. For me.

From New York Times bestselling author Katy Regnery comes her first duo of paranormal romances!

Review
It's You is Katy Regnery's first Paranormal duet.  Paranormal was always my first love so I was super excited to get my hands on this book.  As with all of her other books, Katy does disappoint at all.  Not only is the book paranormal, but it also has an all encompassing romance that lasts always and forever.  Pure love/soulmates.  I loved how this story is split into two parts. The first half of the book Darcy is telling the story and then the second half was Jack telling the story.  It was great seeing how this bond affected both characters.  What they both went through for the last 20 years.

At a play that both Jack and Darcy performed in, everything changed.  One kiss changed both of their lives forever.  Twenty years later, Jack and Darcy were never able to really let each other go.  Coming face to face again, made that pull even tighter.  The longing and desire came at full force.  Boy oh boy, you could literally feel all of that.

He wasn’t the same person he was before he had kissed her. He was no longer a boy with a crush on a girl. He was a man staring at his woman.

That one all consuming kiss changed Darcy's life.  For 20 years, she could not let go of Jack.  She remembered that night like it happened the day before.  Even though she dated and tried to move on, there was always something missing.  When Jack returned vowing not let her go again, she fought.  She wanted him more than anything, but she wanted to protect her heart. I loved Darcy.  She was so strong, yet so scared at the same time. I was able to connect with her on so many different levels.

She heard the whispered words in her head, as soft as velvet: I belong to you, and you belong to me

Jack was so swoon worthy.  He was all alpha male and I loved that about him.  Jack wasn't planning on that one kiss with a human to change everything.  It has never been heard of before.  His kind doesn't seem to like humans.  Jack disappeared for a long time to learn control.  To be able to live with Darcy.  He couldn't hurt her, but he didn't want to hurt others that she knew.  He loved and wanted to be with her so much that he was willing to live among the humans and control himself.

For what is bound cannot be broken

I also loved Amory and Willow!!!  OMG, I am hoping that they get their own story.  You could just feel the tension between these two.  Talk about two individuals who are completely stubborn.  But I adored them.

It's You was a phenomenal story from beginning to end.  It was filled with so many secrets and mysteries that I couldn't put the book down.  Each chapter left me wanting more.  The ending was a little cliffhanger but not too bad.  It sets up the next book perfectly.  Eeekkkk!!!  Can't wait to see what happens next.
