Welcome to my stop on the Of Gaea blog tour.  My stop includes my review of the story.

Of Gaea Title: Of Gaea
Author: Victoria Escobar
Publication: March 20th, 2013
Format: ebook
Pages: 310

Synopsis

Her choice will change the world.

She hated the wheelchair. Hated the way it made her feel less than what she was. Most of all she hated not being able to do all the things she used to. Ari had been a track and field star, an archery champion and an Eskrima pro. Now she was confined to a wheelchair slowly dying inside from its restraints.

Medical science wasn’t working. The tests, the drugs, the therapies were all useless and a waste of time. She was tired of wasting her time; she was tired of failure. It was time to look away from the obvious and try something unconventional.

Nothing was ever free and that included miracles. Abruptly, Ari finds herself tangled in a web of lies, questioning everything she’s ever known as truth. Never had she believed she’d be thrown headfirst into a world of good and evil, magic and Gods.

Trapped in the middle of a war she had never known existed both parties demanded her allegiance. Ari was a catalyst that could change all the rules of the Earth. But when the time comes to make a choice will she be strong enough to know right from wrong?

My Review

I loved, loved, loved this book!!!  There wasn't anything I didn't like about this book.  Of Gaea was an enthralling story that had me hooked after the very first page.  I did not want to put this book down at all.  The way Victoria weaves the twists and turns throughout the story had me turning the page for more.  I had to know what was going to happen next.  The story was beautifully written and well crafted.  I was able to picture everything going on in the story,  The characters were well developed and easy to follow.  I was able to feel the raw emotion that the characters possessed.  I loved the characters in this story.  They are some of my favorites.

I was able to relate easily with Ari's character.  She is a strong, stubborn character even though being in a wheel chair.  She hates being in the wheel chair.  At the beginning of the story, I could tell she was slowly fading away.  But she never gave up.  Ari was determined to find a way to walk again.  I loved that about her.  When things completely change though, it takes her completely by surprise.  So many people have lied to her.  Sasha completely stole my heart in this book.  He was constantly protecting Ari and it was very sweet.  He is also completely gorgeous!!!!

Of Gaea was a captivating story that had me hooked after the very first page.  It was full of action, romance, suspense and mystery.  I loved this book so much that I have to go ahead and buy it for my kindle.  I am already wanting to reread it again.  I love how this book is unique and original.  I haven't read another book like it before.  That being said, it gets even more bonus points from me.  I highly recommend this book!!!  It is a MUST read everyone!!!!

Victoria has currently rooted in New York, going to college at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division. Though she hates being cold, she toughs out the bitter New York winter for the love of family.

She writes in her spare time before and after the day job. Victoria enjoys the writing process and the creation of new characters and realities. She works by outline, less chance of falling
off the wagon that way.

She reads anything she can get her hands on, and devours a book in five hours or less. Victoria reads the Young adult books and the science fiction fantasy books more than anything else. However, she can be caught reading romance novels, and classics at times depending on her whimsy. Since her imagination is well tuned, it’s difficult for her to read/watch anything horror or suspenseful. (She has a tendency for prolonged nightmares if she does.)
